Whether it’s to watch live sports such as English Premier League football, MLB, and NFL in Pattaya or to keep up to date with your favorite Expat TV series and news from home, there are several locally based English-language television and radio broadcasting companies in Pattaya. However, after a clampdown on the illegal broadcasting of foreign TV networks in Thailand several years ago, the choice of reliable sources of Expat TV in Pattaya is not as great as it was.

HD Prime TV
HD Prime is what I’ve been using since 2015, after ditching True Visions and then a rival company due to the rights to broadcast the English Premier League in Thailand being swapped back and forth between them.
The beauty of HD Prime is you can try it for three days for just 95 baht by buying a True Money voucher/slip from any 7-Eleven store in Thailand, and then you can top up whenever you need, just like topping your phone credit.
You can choose to buy live TV, which includes the English Premier League and a multitude of other sports, news, and popular channels such as Nat Geo, Discovery, History Channel, Comedy Gold, and so on.
You can buy video on demand to watch movies and popular TV series, and there is also an adults-only XXX channel.

How Else to Watch TV in Pattaya
If you’re staying in a hotel in Pattaya, the number of foreign TV channels is often limited to a handful of news and movie channels, and the free WiFi is often too weak to stream TV and movies. One alternative is to get a Thai sim card, take advantage of the unlimited internet, and watch TV on your phone via HD Prime or a similar service.
Pattaya Bars with Live Sports on TV
Countless bars in Pattaya, like The Classroom, even some agogo bars and gents clubs, show live sports on TV, such as the English Premier League, cricket, baseball, and American Football.
You will almost certainly find a bar that shows the game you want to watch in places like Soi LK Metro, Tree Town, and Soi Chaiyapoon in the Soi Buakhao area. Many have multiple Televisions screening various games at the same time.
