Pattaya Pratumnak Beach

Updated August 17, 2014 By Darren C

Pratumnak Beach in South Pattaya is another of those hidden gems, like Cosy Beach and Asia Beach, Pattaya’s Pratumnak Beach nestles in one of the picturesque little bays between Pattaya and Jomtien.

Pratumnak Beach - Pattaya Thailand
Pratumnak Beach, smooth sand and quiet atmosphere !.

Pratumnak beach is quite spacious (see photo above), it is one of the cleanest beaches in Pattaya and it has a gentle laid back atmosphere. One big plus of this beach is that there is a well maintained footpath shaded by the trees, the path links the beaches of Pattaya Park and Dongtan and extends all the way to Jomtien Beach.

Try a spot of fishing on Pattaya’s Pratumnak Beach !.

Besides having a smooth sandy beach and being ideal for swimming, Pratumnak Beach has a rocky area which is a popular spot for locals to do a little beach fishing. Maybe you can bring your fishing rod with you and pick up some knowledge form the local fishermen.

As on all of Pattaya’s beaches, it’s never hard to find food and drink !.

It is never difficult to find food and drink on the beaches of Pattaya, and Pratumnak Beach is no different, you’ll see the usual array of stalls selling food and drink.

Pratumnak is a nice beach, one of the best beaches in Pattaya, it has a lot going for it, one thing I like about it is the pathway joining Pratumnak to the beaches of Pattaya Park and Dongtan, with 3 beaches to choose from in this short distance you’re bound to find a spot you like.

Getting to Pratumnak Beach.

The easiest way to get to Pratumnak beach is via Pratumnak Soi 5 or Soi 6 off Thappraya Road, alternatively you could walk from Jomtien, passing Dongtan and Pattaya Park beaches, use this Google map of Pratumnak Beach to find directions.
