The Pattaya Lighthouse is situated on a rocky point of land at the Southern tip of Pattaya Bay just a few hundred meters south of Bali Hai Pier. Not sure when the Pattaya Lighthouse was actually built or if it actually functions as a lighthouse, the circular enclosure which it sits inside is starting to look messy, but on the whole it’s an attractive structure.

The Pattaya Lighthouse is located right on the bend of the coastal road which takes you from Bali Hai to the Sheraton Hotel and the Phratamnak Hill area of South Pattaya.

There is no beach to speak of, just a rocky shore, but there is a nice little restaurant tucked behind the Pattaya Lighthouse, it’s called the Lighthouse Restaurant, (surprise surprise). On the left side of the road just before you arrive at the Pattaya Lighthouse there are some steps which take you to the Bali Hai Viewing Point, some great views of Pattaya Bay from there.

Located on the Southern most point of Pattaya Bay, there are great views of the bay to the north.
