I posted these photos of Thai ladyboys here for no other reason than that I like them and feel they are well worth sharing. I managed to snap them quite by chance, a case of being in the right place at the right time.
The place was Mimosa City of Love in Pattaya, and the time was between performances of the daily ladyboy cabaret shows that were once held there.
Unlike at Tiffany’s and other ladyboy shows in Pattaya, the shows at Mimosa were performed on an outdoor stage, which meant there were no wings to wait in. Instead, they waited in the public areas, all dressed up and ready to go.
It was a scene that screamed “take photos here,” so I took some photos. As I warmed to the task, so did the ladyboys, with what felt like my own photo shoot culminating in the classic poses of the last two images. Thanks, ladies.
