Halloween is a big event in Pattaya these days, with most establishments in town making an extra special effort to make themselves and their staff appear as horrifying as hell. Mimosa was no exception, elaborate dress was what they did best, and I have to admit it was not disappointing. The ladyboys were dressed to spill, the sacariest ladyboys in Pattaya, with no time or expense spared on their “horror bill” make-up.
I anticipated a night of sensational photographic gore, but unfortunately it was more a case of trick or treat, or more relevantly “snap and treat”. At 20 per photo I limited my magnificent collection of Halloween photos to just 1, see photo above.
I quickly calmed my petrified wallet and eased it back in to my pocket before setting my camera to ISO 1600, and ventured off in to the darkness to seek some light.
In hindsight, considering they charge 100 baht per photo to have your photo taken with the ladyboys after the show at Tiffany’s ladyboy show I should have begrudgingly paid 20 baht at least a few more times.
