There were formerly 2 outdoor lawn bowling clubs in Pattaya, The first to roll a bowl in anger was the original ‘The Bowling Green’ way back in 1999, sad to say though that The Bowling Green occupied a prime piece of real estate and was gobbled up by developers. Since that first speculative opening of ‘The Bowling Green’ lawn bowls has become well established in Pattaya and has remained incredibly popular at the one remaining outdoor lawn bowls club.
The Retreat Bowling Club is situated a little out of town on the east side of Pattaya, but having 2 greens and good facilities, The Retreat has remained popular with Pattaya’s lawn bowls community. The Retreat does not have a dedicated website but you can find contact information on their Facebook Page
