I hope you like hot air balloons, because I spent 3 days at the Pattaya International Balloon Festival, snapping away merrily. Here (below) is a selection photos taken over the three days.
The Pattaya International Balloon Fiesta took place on Siam Country Club Road near Siam Motors and Cherdchoomit Garden, and was hosted jointly by the Sport Flying Association of Thailand, the Singha Corporation and the Tourism Authority of Thailand.
Day 1
The long awaited, much anticipated Pattaya Balloon Festival took off on the 13th January and wound down on the 16th. Festivities and shows including para-motor displays, kite flying and live music usually start in the late afternoon.

Day 2
The second day of the Pattaya International Balloon Fiesta was much like the first day, just looked like different balloons to me. Scroll down to view the photos. On both days I made the mistake of turning up too early and decided to come back after the kids have finished school, by this time it was a little late, good time to see the balloons but I missed the paramotors

Day 3
Large crowds were drawn to the third day of the Pattaya International Balloon Festival to see hot air balloons from countries including the UK, USA, Japan, Thailand and Malaysia taking to the skies. This was the first time the crowds had the opportunity to see the balloons fly and each balloon was enthusiastically cheered as it soared off in to the sky. Scroll down to check out the photos from the third day of the festival.
