Soi Siam Country Club, otherwise known as ‘Soi Pornprapanimit’ begins just 400 meters north of the Pattaya Klang (central) junction on the east side Sukhumvit highway. The road continues for 14 kilometers, passing Mabprachan Lake and Siam Country Club before eventually terminating at Highway 36. Use the Google map link to locate Soi Siam Country Club.
Soi Siam Country Club is one of many roads which access East Pattaya, but is easily the most recognized and identifiable due to the large red archway on which ‘Siam Country Club’ is signed.
The road’s true name, Pornprapanimit, comes from the Pornprapha family, the owners of Siam Country Club, among other things. Adding ‘nimit,’ which means vision, destiny, or sign, gives the road a full name that translates roughly to ‘Pornprapha’s Vision.’
