The main purpose of this post is to get you the cheapest entry/admission tickets to attractions and activities in Pattaya. By the way, you can easily find which things are worth doing, how to get there, and all the resources you need to plan your own Pattaya sightseeing tours and activity itinerary.
Where to Get Discounted (cheap) Tickets to Attractions in Pattaya?
Let’s look at all the options for booking/buying entry tickets first, such as just turning up and paying at the gate, buying from local tour agents, buying online, and whether or not you need to book in advance.

Do You Need to Book Tickets and Tours in Pattaya in Advance?
Some attractions and activities, like Elephant Jungle Sanctuary, Flight of The Gibbon, Island hopping/snorkeling tours, ATV tours – to name a few – only cater to small groups. So for these, during high season – especially December to February, you should book as far in advance as possible.
Buy Tickets as You Enter
Buying tickets on entry means you pay full price. The only exceptions (at some attractions and activities) are discounts (Thai prices) for foreigners residing in Thailand who possess a Thai driving license, non immigrant visa, or work permit.
Buy From Local Travel and Tour Agents
There’s local tour and travel agents operating from numerous shops and kiosks in downtown Pattaya. Ok, they’re handy, but how long do you want to spend comparing prices from one to the next. If you want to do that – first of all make sure you have an idea what you want to see and do, and compare the prices against the discounts offered online.
Buy Entry Tickets Online
The 2 services I’m going to recommend offer the best discounts, and provide everything you need to plan your Pattaya sightseeing and activity itinerary. How?, for a start there’s handy user reviews and ratings to help you find what’s really worth doing in Pattaya, and if transport is not provided by the operator you can choose to hire a private car and driver.
With klook, you can start earning discounts on your Pattaya sightseeing activities the moment you arrive in Thailand by taking advantage of services like the immigration fast track, tourist SIM card delivery/collection, airport rail link, and taxi and transfer services from Bangkok and the airports.

Looking for ideas, need a little inspiration, or you need to know what’s worth seeing and doing in Pattaya? Most popular attractions in Pattaya have already received hundreds – even thousands of reviews on Klook. It’s testament to Klook’s popularity, a great way to see at a glance which things are worth doing in Pattaya, and get some inside tips to help you plan.
Charter a Private Vehicle with Driver & Guide
Currently, there’s 2 services on Klook offering private car/van with driver and optional guide in Pattaya. That means you are free to visit several attractions in the Pattaya area – when you want – in the order you want. Just buy your entry tickets (if required), book the private car and driver charter, tell the driver where you want to go. It doesn’t get much easier than that.
Instant Booking and Tickets for Same Day Use
No matter which destination in Thailand you choose, at a glance you can see review ratings and scores, and which activities and attractions are available for same day booking and ticket use.
All In One Thailand Sightseeing, Entry Ticket & Travel Booking App
Klooks usefulness goes beyond getting cheap tickets to attractions and activities in Pattaya and all the top tourist destinations in Thailand. Besides the convenient airport services you can also book taxis, buses and transfers, hire a private car and driver, book ferries to islands in Thailand, spa treatments, dining experiences, and lots more.
Klook is actually a global ticket and tour booking service – focused mainly on offering discounted entry tickets to attractions in S.E Asian countries including Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia, Hong Kong and Japan.
Get cheap tickets & tours in Pattaya with Klook
Like Klook, Hotels2Thailand provide discount tickets to attractions, activities and tours in Pattaya, and also at another 23 popular tourist destinations in Thailand. Unlike Klook, they don’t offer a rewards system, there’s not so many user reviews, and not nearly as many additional services like taxi and bus transfer services.
What Hotels2Thailand do offer (at some attractions and activities) is additional discounts for some Asian and South East Asian nationalities – including Thais. So if you are Asian, or traveling with Thais in your group you should see what they have to offer. Besides that, they have some incredibly cheap offers.
Hotels2Thailand have 4 Pattaya activity and tour categories. There’s numerous activities and attractions in each category. I wouldn’t say they are categorized accordingly, but that’s how they choose to do it.

You will find many of Pattaya’s most popular tourist attractions and activities on both Klook and Hotels2Thailand, in most cases the price difference in price is negligible, but by way of special offers and reduced prices on one or the other you can save a lot of money by comparing prices for your chosen attraction or activity.
Plan Your Own Pattaya Sightseeing Tours and Activity Itinerary
So far, you can easily find things worth doing, get the cheapest priced entry tickets, buy tickets inclusive of transfer – or charter a vehicle and driver from Klook. So what is there to plan?
Well, actually it’s handy to know there are many points of interest and “must see and do” tourist attractions in Pattaya which you can visit and enter free of charge.
When planning your own Pattaya sightseeing tour you don’t have to rely on attractions and activities with inclusive (optional) transfer services. Many places can be reached easily and cheaply by hopping on and off a baht bus (songthaew). And if you wish to charter a private vehicle and driver, besides using Klook – you can also charter a baht bus, or use the GrabTaxi app to charter a car and driver by the hour.
3 Ways to Charter a Vehicle and Driver in Pattaya
Klook Private Vehicle Charter: There’s 2 services on Klook, between them they offer car or van with driver for 3 to 10 passengers, for 4, 6, 8, or 10 hours, one service also offers optional English or Chinese speaking guide. Prices range from 1,700+ baht for 4 hours to 3,100+ baht for 10 hours, there’s also the option to charter for multiple days.
Grabtaxi App: You can choose to charter a car and driver for 3 passengers starting at 600 baht for 2 hours, and 2000 baht for up to 8 hours.
Charter a Baht Bus: To charter a baht bus you can either flag down an empty bus, or find a stationary one. Tell the driver exactly where you want to go, and how long you would like to hire him for, preferably have a Thai speaker assist you. The price is negotiable, so the best thing to do is compare against the rates on Klook and Grabtaxi. Ideally, you want to pay less to charter a baht bus, and carry more passengers than allowed in a car.
Places to Visit Using a Private Vehicle and Driver in Pattaya
The most obvious time to hire a private vehicle and driver is when there is no optional transfer service when you book entry tickets online, or perhaps chartering a vehicle is more economical than buying optional transfers if you are a large family or group.
Whistle-stop Sightseeing Tour of Free Attractions in Pattaya
You can charter a vehicle for a couple of hours and visit the local free “must see places” like Buddha Hill (Wat Phra Yai), Pattaya Viewing Point and the Pattaya Sign viewing point at Bali Hai. Or you could make a day of it and also take in free-to-enter attractions some 20 kilometers south of Pattaya in the vicinity of Ramayana water park and Nong Nooch Gardens, including Buddha Mountain (khao Chi Chan), Wat Yansangwararam, and Silver Lake Vineyard.
Not free to enter, but some attractions also near Ramayana water park and Nong Nooch include – Upside Down House and Swiss Sheep Farm.
Hop on – Hop off Sightseeing by Baht Bus in Pattaya
There’s a lot of attractions and activities in Pattaya right on the regular ‘blue baht bus’ routes, just hop – hop off, and pay the regular 10 – 20 baht per person fare.
The main baht bus route in Pattaya is a circular route going in an anti clockwise direction along 2nd Road and Pattaya Beach Road, between North Pattaya Road and South Pattaya Road. From the main route you can also travel from Pattaya to Naklua, Wongamat, and Jomtien, or along the north, central and south Pattaya Roads.
The attractions and activities listed below are in order as you travel north along 2nd Road on the main circular route.
Ripley’s Museum & Louis Tussauds Waxworks at Royal Garden Plaza: You access Royal Garden Plaza from 2nd Road or Pattaya Beach Road.
Cinema – Rhythm & Bowl Tenpin Bowling at Avenue Mall: Access from 2 Road, get off at Avenue Mall.
Cinema – Tenpin Bowling – Mario Land, at Central Festival Beach Mall: Access from 2nd Road and Beach Road.
Kids Adventure playgrounds – Ice Skating – Snow-land – Trampolining – Wall Climbing, at Harbor Mall: To get to Harbor Mall, you need to go right at the Central Pattaya Road junction, if your baht bus goes straight or left here, get off and take one heading up Central Pattaya Road. Again, if the baht bus makes any turns at the 3rd Road junction or anywhere else before you reach Harbor Mall get off. Harbor Mall is on the left-hand side, around 1,2 kilometers from the 2nd road junction, and 300 meters past Big C Extra.
How do you know when you are at the Central Pattaya Road junction? It’s the first junction after Central Festival Beach Mall.
Alcazar Ladyboy Cabaret: On the right-hand side, approximately 750 meters past the Central Pattaya Road junction.
Cinema at Central Marina Mall: Get off at Central Marina Mall, on the right-hand side.
Tuxedo Illusion Hall: Get off at Central Marina Mall, walk approximately 100 meters down Soi 2 (left-hand side of the road), the entrance to Tuxedo Illusion Hall is on the left.

At the Dolphin Roundabout, the baht bus might turn left and continue the 2nd Road – Pattaya Beach Road route, or go straight on to Naklua and Wongamat, or turn up North Pattaya Road
Going straight on at the roundabout to Naklua & Wonagamat
Naklua Beach: You could just get off at the roundabout and cross the road, or get off at the entrance to Dusit Thani hotel, then take Soi 24 to the left (sign posted Best Bella hotel) immediately past the Dusit Thani entrance. The first public access to the beach is about 480 meters, on the left. You can also easily access Naklua Beach from Pattaya Beach.
Wongamat Beach: Get off at Naklua Road Soi 18, on the left side approximately 620 meters past the dolphin roundabout. The entrance to Wongamat Beach is 720 meters walk down Soi 18.
Sanctuary of Truth: Get off at Soi 12, on the left-hand side approximately 2.3 kilometers along Naklua Road. There is a motorcycle taxi rank on the corner of Soi 12, and baht buses travel along the soi, otherwise it’s about a 1 kilometer walk along Soi 12 to the entrance of the Sanctuary of Truth.
Going left to Pattaya Beach Road at the dolphin roundabout
Pattaya Beach: You can get off and access the beach anywhere along Beach Road between Dusit Thani and Walking Street.
Teddy Bear Museum: It’s on the left-hand side, about 100 meters past the Holiday Inn.
Walking Street – Bali Hai – Ferries to Koh Lahn & Hua Hin: At the very end of Beach Road, where the baht bus goes left to the junction of 2nd Road and South Pattaya Road. Bali Hai Pier and the ferry terminals are about a 750 meter walk to the far end of Walking Street.
For your information, you can buy discounted tickets for the Pattaya to Hua Hin ferry, day trips to Koh Lahn, and island hopping trips from Klook and Hotels2Thailand.
Going right at the South Pattaya Road & 2nd Road junction
Pattaya Park: Ideally, to be sure you are heading in the direction of Jomtien and Pattaya Park you should take a baht bus from the waiting area/baht bus-stop immediately to the right of the 2nd Road and South Pattaya Road junction. Get off the baht bus at Thappraya Road Soi 12, on the right-hand side, about 2 kilometers from the departure point. The entrance to Pattaya Park is 680 meters along Soi 12.
Jomtien Beach: As per Pattaya Park, board a baht bus at the waiting area at the junction of 2nd Road and South Pattaya Road. Get off anywhere along Jomtien Beach Road, or if the baht bus makes a left turn.
Sightseeing on the White Baht Buses
The white (and less frequently pale blue) baht buses travel north and south along Sukhumvit highway. At 10 to 20 baht per ride it’s a cheap way to reach attractions a little further afield. You can reach Sukhumvit highway by taking a dark blue baht bus on north, central, or south Pattaya roads, and close to the junctions of those roads is the best place to catch/flag-down a white baht bus.
Attractions you can reach by white baht bus include Mini Siam, Cartoon Network Water Park, Underwater World, Pattaya Floating Market and Mimosa.
Might I suggest, to make things easier, get a Thai SIM card, and download a map or navigation app.
