Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep sits 1,676 meters above sea level on top of Doi Suthep mountain, some 15 kilometers from Chiang Mai City. Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep dates back to the 13th century, it’s importance as a place of worship, and the prominent mountain top location make it Chiang Mai’s most visited tourist attraction.
