Behind Pattaya’s Asia Hotel is a tranquil and clean little beach, known locally as “Asia Beach” due to it’s location behind the popular Asia Hotel in South Pattaya. Like Cosy Beach which is just around the corner, and Wongamat Beach in Pattaya’s sub district of Naklua, the Asia Hotel Beach is one of the hidden treasures of Pattaya, a place far removed from the hustle and bustle of Pattaya Beach.
Situated in one of South Pattaya’s many coastal coves, Asia Hotel Beach sits beneath a steep hillside, access to Asia Hotel Beach is via some fairly steep steps at the bottom of Soi Phratamnak 4, South Pattaya.
Rocky in confined areas, but consisting mainly of fairly coarse sand, Pattaya’s Asia Beach is safe and clean. There is a gentle gradient which means the water is quite shallow, and the beach is roomy at low tide, ideal for the kids if you want to let them play while you relax.
The Northern end of Asia Beach is overlooked by the popular Pattaya family resort of Cabbages and Condoms, Birds and Bees Resort, their restaurant has a terrace on the beach.
There are chairs for hire and food and drink is available on Pattaya’s Asia Beach, if you like to sit on a quiet beach without being hassled, be able to stretch your legs out without kicking the person on the chair in front of you, then you should have a wander to Asia Beach.
As you can see from photos the above, Asia Beach is far from crowded, but bear in mind these pictures were taken in June during the low season, during high season when the local hotels are full the beach is bound to be busier.
