Looking for the most awesome things to do in Pattaya for free? The Pattaya Viewing Point (see photos below), located on Pratumnak Hill between Pattaya and Jomtien, and also known as Khao Pattaya View Point is a must-see attraction, and is free to enter.

The Pattaya Viewing Point is from where all those classic, famous images of Pattaya Bay and the city are taken from, like the photo you see below.

From The main viewing area/platfrom (see photo below), elevated approximately 98 meters above sea level, you can take in amazing views of Pattaya Bay, over the city and to the east, and west over the Gulf of Thailand.

Another viewing area located on the right, before you reach the main viewing platform, offers more of a city view and has also been previously used as a seating area where you can take in the views while enjoying snacks and coffee.

On the main viewing platform, a statue of Abhakara Kiartivongse, the founder of the Royal Thai Navy looks northward over Pattaya Bay. The Thais often place incense at the foot of the monument as a mark of respect.
Also nearby on the hilltop there is Wat Khao Prabhat temple, and a radio station owned and operated by the Thai Navy.
You can buy snacks, drinks, and souvenirs, although you cannot take food and drink onto the main viewing platform. There are also public toilets but be ready to face a basic Thai squat toilet and no tissue paper.
Some other attractions worth visitng while you are in the area are the Buddha on the Hill (Wat Phra Yai) and the Pattaya Sign and Bali Hai View Point.
