Pattaya Fitness Park

Updated March 10, 2026 By Darren C

Some people like to keep fit, personally I believe all this exercise lark is overrated and that you are only allotted so many heart beats per lifetime, and if you exercise you are using them up, only joking. Seriously, if you’re looking for a pleasant place to run, jog, a walk, and or just take in some nice scenery you can do it at the Pattaya Fitness Park, also known as ‘Chaloem Phrakiat Park’.

Just so you know, Chaloem Phrakiat roughly translates to ‘to honor the king.’ Many places throughout Thailand, including temples, parks, roads, buildings are similarly prefixed. In Pattaya, there’s a similarly named public park in Naklua.

That’s a whole lot of steps, I’m going to start a petition and see if we can get an escalator installed.

You can run, jog or walk around the Fitness Park and stop at intervals to rest on exercise on the conveniently situated apparatus.

Just as a suggestion, you could take an etended walk from here to the nearby Pattaya Viewing Point, Buddha on The Hill, or the Pattaya and Bali Hai viewing point.

You can find Pattaya Fitness Park on Pratumnak Road, just before the entrance to Buddha on the Hill. Use this Google map of Pattaya Fitness Park for directions, find opening times, and read the latest reviews.
