What’s Going On At Nong Nooch Pattaya.
Nong Nooch is a huge place decorated with expansive gardens, displays, side shows and exhibits. There’s a variety of themes to the gardens, including a European garden, Italian garden, rock garden, Stonehenge garden, Cactus garden, and many more.
Throughout and between the gardens there is also an “animal kingdom” theme. Since 2017 one of the main themes has been Dinosaur Valley – where you can walk among life-size replicas of T-Rex’s and other prehistoric beasties.
A big crowd-pleaser at Nong Nooch Gardens is the daily shows, the Thai culture show, followed by the Elephant show. The Thai culture show includes classical Thai dancing, Muay Thai, and elephants on the battlefield.
The Elephant Show at Nong Nooch Gardens is an impressive spectacle, it’s not every day you see elephants painting, riding bicycles, doing handstands, or playing football and basketball.
Just as a little aside, I’ve ridden elephants, I’ve seen the Elephant Show at Nong Nooch on a couple of occasions, and I will not be doing either again. Why? Popular consensus suggests elephants get a bum deal, they don’t like it, and it’s not good for them. You don’t need to see the Elephant Show to have an enjoyable day at Nong Nooch, and there are far better ways to have fun interacting with elephants.
Other Things To See and Do At Nong Nooch Gardens
I like to walk, but you can hire bicycles or jump on the tour bus. Nong Nooch is a great place to explore, for kids too, they love exploring the gardens and climbing on the animal statues. You can spend a full day at Nong Nooch, taking in the sights, feeding the Arapaima, peddle boating on the lake, or taking an envious look at the owners car collection.
