Courtyard Restaurant East Pattaya

Updated April 25, 2025 By Darren C

UPDATE: After being closed for a long period of time, The Courtyard is currently open and operating as La Cremerie The Courtyard. If you would like to visit, know the location, it’s opening times, and if it is still currently operating, please use the Google map at the bottome of the page.

From this point on (below) is the original review and photos of The Courtyard when we visited in 2016. Since the rebranding there has also been extensive refurbishments inside the restaurant.

The Courtyard

You may have drove past the Courtyard restaurant before now, you may have noticed it, or you may not. The Courtyard is a rather inconspicuous place, the roadside frontal face of the building gives nothing away. But venture inside, and through to the rear of the building there is a delightful open courtyard dining area.

As you can see (check out the photos below) the Courtyard is a wonderfully atmospheric restaurant, especially if you visit after dark. I don’t do food reviews, but if I don’t like a place, or the food is substandard I won’t give it a mention. The food though, in my opinion was very nice. They have Thai and western food, and an extensive drinks menu including cocktails and cider.

Some points of interest nearby are Mabprachan Lake which boasts a bicycle track and children’s playground, and the popular Pattaya Elephant Jungle Sanctuary.
