Walking Street, the jewel in Pattaya’s nightlife crown, is better known for it’s neon lights than the light of day. Walking Street by day is a stark contrast to the bump and grind of the night time. Scantily dressed girls and party-goers are replaced by delivery trucks, postmen, and beach lovers heading towards Bali Hai and the ferry to Koh Lahn.
The photos below are of Walking Street by day from 2010 to more recent times. You’ll notice that for better or worse, it’s changed a lot over the years.

As revellers painted the town red by night in 2022, someone painted Walking Street by day. You’ve gotta love Walking Street!

The famous tamarind tree and Thai animist beliefs (photos above) are two of the constants of Walking Street.
The New Walking Street

The bar scene on Walking Street is forever changing and evolving.
