How warm is it in Thailand?
Answer: Average daily temperatures are about 30 Celsius. Central and southern Thailand temperatures only fluctuate by 5 or 6 degrees year-round. Northern and North-eastern Thailand temperatures can rise to more than 40 Celsius between March and June. In contrast, it’s not unheard of for the temperature to drop below 20 Celsius between November and February.
How warm is the sea in Thailand?
Answer: The sea temperature is between 27 – 30 Celsius year-round. It’s like warm bath water. Even at 50 meters depth, the temperature is 22 – 23 Celsius.
How many hours of daylight are there in Thailand?

The price for a small bottle of beer at a bar is 60–90 baht. Expect to pay up to 3 or 4 times this amount in a club or go-go bar. Premium beers tend to be 30 – 40 baht more than Thai beers.

Can I hire a car or motorcycle in Thailand?
Answer: Yes, you can. Many motorcycle rental companies stipulate that you must have had the appropriate license from your home country for 1 year and be at least 21 years old. The British motoring organizations ‘AA’ and ‘RAC’ both firmly state that an International Driving Permit is required to drive in Thailand, in respect of this, you are best advised to obtain an IDP from your home country. Also, make sure any medical or travel insurance covers you for driving cars and motorcycles. Be especially careful if you are considering hiring a motorcycle in Thailand.
Can I use my ATM card to withdraw money in Thailand?
Answer: Most foreign bank ATM cards will work in Thailand. Always confirm this first with your bank, especially if your ATM card is to be used as your primary cash source.
