Soi Baukhao market is open every day from early morning until around 6 PM. It formerly only opened on Tuesday and Friday, and was known as the Tuesday and Friday market.
As you can see from the photos below, Soi Baukhao market is an outdoor market, though it is largely covered by canvas canopies and awnings which gives it shelter from the ravages of the hot Pattaya sun.
Along with Thepprasit Night Market, Soi Baukhao is one of the most popular markets in Pattaya and it does get busy, and the aisles are narrow and easily get congested. On a positive note, if the wife insists you go shopping with her, there are a few surrounding cafes and bars where you can have a quiet beer while the wife shops to her hearts content.
There are many things on offer, including food, clothes, kitchen utensils, garden plants, and every day brick-a-brac. Clothes are probably one of the best buys, shorts, ‘T’ shirts and under garments can be bought at bargain prices.

Secondhand Market
Also on Soi Buakhao, opposite the Baukhao market is a large indoor market, officially named the Grand Hall Market. It’s open every day until around 5 PM, and is where you can buy secondhand clothes, bags, trinkets, and all sorts of bric-a-brac.
