Pattaya Balloon Festival 2011 Second Day

Updated May 31, 2021 By Darren C

The second day of the Pattaya International Balloon Fiesta was much like the first day, just looked like different balloons to me, scroll down to view the photos. On both days I made the mistake of turning up too early and decided to come back after the kids have finished school, by this time it was a little late, good time to see the balloons but I missed the para-motors. If I decide to go on Saturday I think I will go between 2 and 3 in the afternoon. Being a holiday though, the activities might start earlier on Saturday, but don’t take my word for it !.

There is certainly no shortage of entertainment for children at the Pattaya Balloon Festival, bouncy castles, trampolines, remote control cars, shooting, Ferris wheel, miniature train ride and pony rides.

Hot Air Balloons
The balloonists first use a powerful fan to inflate the balloons, once the balloon is full of air it’s time to use the burner and stand the balloon upright

Now this balloon is ready it’s just a matter of using the burner to keep it warm
