Thailand photos: I saw the oldest cyclist in Thailand, while taking an early morning walk down the beach road just south of Hua Hin I saw this old guy riding his bike down the road, complete with a can of Thailand’s legendary Chang beer in his basket. I hope I can still ride a bicycle at his age, I hope I can still stomach a beer Chang when I’m his age.
I’m quite sure he is the oldest man I have seen riding a bike, I would guess he must be well into his eighties.
What’s His Secret ?.
- Maybe the clue is in his basket, the Beer Chang.
- He’s riding the “cycle of life”.
- He’s a ghost, or “Phi” as they say in Thailand.
