It seems like if there is any event, festival or occasion in Thailand, this man (photo below) is there. I first spotted him patriotically waving his Thailand flag at the Pattaya Marathon in 2010. He made an appearance at the South East Asian Games, and most recently I saw him featured on a documentary about prisoners fighting for freedom. I have previously wrote about Thailand’s Eventful Characters, no Thai event or festival is complete without them, but this man is definitely more eventful than most. So, who is he, and why does he do it ?. Answers in the comments box please.
