Hotels on Beach Road might be considered the best hotels in Pattaya when it comes to location. Although many hotels in Pattaya have a Beach Road address, they could be right on Beach Road or some 250–450 meters away along the sois (streets) between Beach Road and 2nd Road.
The hotels listed below are mid- to high-price range hotels located right on or with direct access to Pattaya Beach Road, with one being the only one of the many popular beach resorts in Pattaya with direct access to Pattaya Beach.
Pattaya Beach Road (see map below) runs parallel to and within a few meters of the beach, which stretches the entire length of the most central area of Pattaya, from Walking Street in the south to the Dusit Thani Hotel in the north.
Among the hotels on Beach Road are luxury four and 5-star hotels, popular family-friendly hotels, and high-rise hotels with balcony rooms where you can enjoy the best sea views in Pattaya or watch events like the International Fireworks Festival.

North Pattaya Beach Road Hotels
From the Dusit Thani to Central Pattaya Road.
This area is home to many popular family-friendly hotels and is less populated by bars, shopping malls, restaurants, convenience stores, and souvenir shops than the length of Beach Road road further south between Central Road and Walking Street, making it one of the best places to stay for families with children in Pattaya.
Although there are not as many bars in this area, it is home to one of Pattaya’s most notorious naughty nightlife streets—Soi 6.
The 5-star, 8-floor high Dusit Thani, having direct access to the beach, is the only true beachfront hotel on Pattaya Beach. From the hotel’s location at the northernmost point of Pattaya Beach, many of the rooms have a view of the entire length of the beach from north to south, making it a great hotel from which to enjoy cocktails at sunset or watch the awesome Pattaya International fireworks displays.
Despite being some 230 meters from the beach, I included the 17-floor high, 4-star OZO Hotel because it’s a popular, family-friendly hotel and a slightly cheaper alternative to the nearby Amari and Holiday Inn hotels with which it shares features such as a kid’s pool with slides and family rooms and suites.
The 20-floor high main building of the 5-star Amari Hotel is 56 meters from the roadside and just a 72-meter walk to the beach. Many of the ocean-view rooms at this family-friendly hotel on Pattaya Beach Road have unspoiled views of the beach and bay and are a great location from which to enjoy the Pattaya International Fireworks displays.
The 4.5-star Holiday Inn Hotel, 75 meters from the beach on Pattaya Beach Road, is one of the most popular hotels among families that vacation in Pattaya with children. There are two accommodation buildings: the 26-floor high Bay Tower (closest to the beach) and the 25-floor tall Executive Tower. For the best views of the beach and the International Fireworks Festival, choose the “beach view” rooms on the high floors of the Bay Tower.
The 27-floor high 3-star Markland Beach View is 84 meters from Pattaya Beach Road and 99 meters from the beach. Choose one of the panoramic suites for the best Pattaya beach and ocean views and to watch the Pattaya International fireworks displays.
A-One Royal Cruise is a 9-floor high, 4-star hotel with balcony rooms that have panoramic sea views and is 42 meters from the beach.
Discovery Beach Hotel is 12 floors high, 4-star hotel with sea views 52 meters from Pattaya Beach.
Mere Mare is a 4-star seven-floor high hotel 48 meters from the beach road and 62 meters from the beach. The best Pattaya beach and sea views are from the hotel’s luxurious panorama and sensation suite rooms with a balcony on the top floor.
The Hard Rock 4.5-star hotel is ten floors high in grounds bordering and overlooking Pattaya Beach Road, just a short walk from the beach. The popular family-friendly hotel boasts the largest swimming pool in Pattaya and many rooms with a balcony and sea views.
South Pattaya Beach Road Hotels
From north to south between Central Road and Walking Street.
Opposite the beach here, there are two major shopping malls and an almost continuous row of businesses, including bars, massage parlors, restaurants, shops, and popular bar and nightlife streets such as Soi 7, Soi 8, and Soi Yamato.
The entrance to Walking Street is a maximum walking distance of 1.5 kilometers. Walking via the side streets to 2nd Road leaves you a short distance from Soi Buakhao, which you can reach via Soi Diana, Soi Skaw Beach, Soi Honey, Soi New Plaza, or Myth Night bar complex.
The Hilton is a 5-star high-rise hotel located on top of Central Festival Beach Shopping Mall, which, including the floors of the mall, reaches a total of 34 storeys high. Due to the height, proximity to the beach, and central location on Pattaya Beach Road, you can enjoy the most amazing Pattaya beach and sea views and even choose rooms with a bathtub on the balcony.
Being positioned in front of the barges moored a few hundred meters out to sea in Pattaya Bay, where the fireworks get launched, rooms at the Hilton offer the best views of the Pattaya International Fireworks Festival.
Wave Hotel is a four-floor high, 4-star hotel 18 meters from the beach road and 38 meters from the beach. The beautiful Miami-style hotel is one of the few low-rise hotels on Pattaya Beach Road that, aside from the promenade palm trees, has uncluttered views of the beach and sea across the road.
The 4-star LK The Empress is an elegantly styled 8-floor high hotel with several beach-facing rooms with balconies and panoramic sea views on Pattaya Beach Road and is only 22 meters from the beach and around 5 minutes walking distance from Walking Street.
Hermann Hotel is a 4-star, 18-floor high hotel with north, south, and beach-facing sea views on Pattaya Beach Road, 36 meters from the beach. Choose the panoramic or north-facing rooms for the best view of the Pattaya International Fireworks display. The hotel also recommends booking direct if you want to secure a room with a view of the fireworks.
