About Me
Hi, I’m Darren, the creator and author of Pattaya Unlimited. I first visited Pattaya in 1999 as a backpacker, I fell in love with the place and only returned home briefly to train for a new career that would allow me to live in Pattaya.
Currently, I’m living an ordinary and fulfilling life in Pattaya with my Thai wife and our two sons.
Over the years, I’ve explored every corner of this city and gained much valuable insider knowledge that I share here on the blog.
I started the blog back in 2009, not so much as a personal journal, but as a resource to help visitors have the best time in Pattaya based on my local knowledge, real-life experience, and love of the city.
