To be specific these beaches are between the northern tip of Wongamat Beach and the Sanctuary Of Truth. There are 4 small beaches, the first is just beyond a rocky outcrop north of the main Wongamat Beach, the other 3 are around the other side of the headland.
It’s easy enough to walk from Wongamat Beach to the boundary wall the Sanctuary Of Truth, please note you can not enter the Sanctuary Of Truth from here. You may have to negotiate some broken footpath (picture above) and a few rocks but it’s not a hard walk.
The first beach is probably the only one worth visiting, just beyond the rocky outcrop there is stretch of beach between 150 – 200 meters long, there is a small bar surround by deck chairs and parasols. As you see in the picture (above) it is quite a nice pristine little beach.
Lastly, the end of the line, this beach is bordered by the walls of the Sanctuary of Truth (see photo above), personally I wouldn’t bother, unless you want to walk all the way back the only other way out is to go up the steps to the Garden Cliff Resort and Spa, through the resort and then negotiate the back roads of Naklua and Wongamat. As for the beach, it’s barren but may be handy for residents of the Garden Cliff and the neighboring condo.
How do they compare to other beaches in Pattaya ?.
- Except for the first beach they off nothing by way of seating, shelter or amenities.
- Access is limited unless condos or resorts allow you to access through their property.
- The boat jetty looks like a great place for fishing.
- Some potentially good areas for snorkeling.
