Horse riding is certainly not one of the most popular sports or activities in Pattaya, and I can’t recall ever actually seeing someone riding a horse along the streets and roads of Pattaya. But surprisingly (or not), Pattaya does boast several large equestrian centers, which include major competitive polo and dressage events.
You may participate, spectate or learn horse riding in Pattaya at the venues below.
Thai Polo & Equestrian Club: Polo and Eventing, set in 500 acres comprising 2 full-size polo fields, an eventing course, practice ground, and stabling for 150 horses. Polo coaching and training facilities. Located at 111 Polo Drive, Pong, Banglamung. Website: http://www.thai-polo-club.com
The Horseshoe Point: This is a huge equestrian complex, one of the biggest in South East Asia. Dressage events are held regularly at the Horseshoe Point, attracting the top riders from the region. Trail riding and riding lessons are available, gymkhanas, dressage training, horse care, and handling. The Horseshoe Point has 4 covered and 1 open riding arena, plus 7 paddocks and lunging rings, as well as stabling for 200 horses. The Horseshoe Point is located at 100 Moo 9, Tambon Pong, Banglamung. Most equestrian and horse riding facilities are in the Mabprachan Lake area of East Pattaya.

If you know of any more horse/pony riding venues and equestrian centers in Pattaya, I would love to add them to this list for the benefit of other equestrian folk visiting Pattaya. Please contact me at pattayaunlimited.com@gmail.com
Pony rides are also available at several attractions in Pattaya, including the Pattaya Sheep Farm.
