I have a “love-hate” relationship with Maptaphut. After six weeks of working offshore, the mechanical skyline of Maptaphut is one of the most welcoming sights imaginable. It’s next stop Pattaya, and all the comforts of home, but you know soon enough you’ll see Maptaphut again. Strangely enough, on the return journey from Pattaya to Maptaphut I never felt the slightest urge to take out my camera and take a photo of beautiful Maptaphut.
